Helping with HEART
Our psychosocial support program is the result of years of dedicated work and experience with children facing illness and their families. By focusing on their emotional, psychophysical and social needs, we ensure that we never lose sight of what we hold the most dear – the fact that, behind these needs, there are always human beings in challenging life situations and in need of friendly understanding. Every day, we strive to offer them strength in times of uncertainty, solace during sadness, and moments of joy when happiness is most essential.
The psychosocial support program involves continuous monitoring of the child from the diagnosis phase through all stages of illness and recovery through creative workshops, psychotherapy for children, parents, and medical staff, support for children and families during palliative care, support for parents after the loss, and community education.
