Amra Silajdžić Džeko delivers touching message to Vitez citizens
Association Heart for the kids with cancer is organising a haircut and donation event on 13 May 2018 from 11:00 to 17:00h, in the shopping mall FIS in Vitez.
Under the project My Hair, Your Hair, the Association organises a haircut and donation campaign to help make wigs for kids with cancer in Vitez.
Amra Silajdžić Džeko was the first celebrity who supported the project My Hair, Your Hair by donating her hair; she expressed her support to the Association Heart for the Kids by becoming the first Ambassador of the Association and thus supporting the work of the Association. Amra supported all the haircut campaigns under this project by delivering a video message to all citizens, and she did not fail to give her support on this occasion either. Amra delivered a touching video message on the haircut and donation campaign in Vitez, thus again appealing to all citizens of the Central Bosnian Canton and Vitez to support this most human campaign.
The Association again invites all citizens of the Central Bosnian Canton to come to the shopping mall FIS in Vitez, on May 13, from 11:00 to 17:00, and donate their hair to help make wigs for kids with cancer.
For those who want to donate hair to make wigs, it is important to note that the hair must be clean, dry, chemically untreated and non-coloured, and at least 30 cm long (ideally, even longer).
So far we have produced and delivered 18 wigs, and 3 wigs are currently in the process of making. Wigs from the Association's workshops are available, free of charge, to any child with temporary or permanent hair loss in order to regain their self-confidence and successfully fit into their home environment.
