The project for the construction of the Parent House in Tuzla came to life at the beginning of the treatment of children suffering from malignant diseases at the Department of Hematology and Oncology of the Children's Clinic at the University Clinical Center Tuzla, as the same needs and problems arose as in Sarajevo before the existence of a parent house Sarajevo.

With great support and assistance from the Government of Tuzla Canton and the University Clinical Center Tuzla, we managed to secure a land plot and resolve legal and property issues that arose along the way.

We laid the foundation stone in June 2021 and started construction.

After numerous obstacles, with a lot of patience, effort, and perseverance, the Association managed to bring the construction project to completion. Today, with pride, we can say that with a lot of hardship and effort, but most importantly with love, we have succeeded in welcoming the opening of the Parent House Tuzla to both young and old residents. Its doors opened exactly eight years after the opening of the Parent House in Sarajevo, on April 26, 2024.

It comprises 400 square meters of living space with 5 accommodation units/apartments; shared spaces such as a living room, kitchen, laundry room; storage, and association premises.

We owe great gratitude to the donors who provided the necessary funds for the realization of this project.

The main donor is the General Secretariat for Waqfs of the State of Kuwait under the supervision of the Zakat House of the State of Kuwait and the Waqf Directorate of the Islamic Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
