On 6 September 2018, the Srcezadjecu Association presented a large donation to the Haematology and Oncology Department of the Children's Diseases Clinic at the Tuzla University Clinical Centre, marking the Golden September, childhood cancer awareness month.
As of last year, the Association has been cooperating with the Tuzla UCC and successfully implementing the Psychosocial Support Project. As part of the Project, the Association secured a psychologist working in the Haematology and Oncology Department with children with cancer, mother accompanying them and the medical staff. The Association has also secured a flat for parents near the UCC, which has been used daily by parents and children, to the great satisfaction of the UCC staff and the Srcezadjecu Association.
The Association continues to provide support to children with cancer and strives to improve the conditions and quality of their treatment by joining forces with the management of the Tuzla UCC and the team from theHaematology and Oncology Department of the Children's Diseases Clinic. Thanks to the many humane citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, institutions and companies supporting the Association, and thanks to the major support of the BiH citizens living abroad, the Association secured a large donation, a BAM 10,000-worth vital signs monitor. This way, the Association aims to provide support to children with cancer and the departments where they are treated. The Association's team believes in the multidisciplinary approach to treatment of children with cancer, which includes a good relationship in the clinic-child-parent-association of parents group.

Due to excellent cooperation with the management of the Tuzla UCC and the management of the Children’s Clinic and the Haematology and Oncology Department, we have the opportunity to improve the treatment conditions for our children, who truly deserve it. Today we tried to make the golden month of September, which is globally marked as the month of raising awareness of childhood cancer, shine better and brighter, and with this donation make the treatment easy on our little ones.We continue to fight together, to jointly make easier every aspect of the battle our bravest little cancer patients are fighting,” said FikretKubat, Association Director.
