DONORS' NIGHT: SUPER RECIPEFOR THE PARENTS' HOUSE

Hotel Holiday in Sarajevo was a place where people with the good heart collected 260,000 BAM at a Donors' Night for the sustainability of the Parents' House, which accommodates families of children with cancer from all over BiH.

A television show called “Super Recipe” was realised in cooperation with Hayat TV, with the goal of providing support and collecting funds necessary for the operation of the Parents' House, and above all, finding a solution for normal functioning of the Parents' House. The project lasted for three months resulting in the end with the Donors' NIght. The show managed to bring together 47 ambassadors, but even more so, friends of the children with cancer and the Parents' House. This project has largely succeeded in achieving the goal, which is to: spread information on existence and importance of the Parents' House, and create new friends of the Association “Srce za djecu koja boluju od raka”.

Multiple celebrities have supported the event, including the Federation of BiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić, Canton Sarajevo Prime Minister Elmedin Konaković, Head Coach of the BiH Football National Team Mehmed Baždarević, football players Elvir Bolić and Muhamed Konjić, actor Enis Bešlagić and other people from the world of culture and public life.

In order for Parents' House to operate normally, it needs 150,000 BAM annually and these funds must not be questionable. All participants of the TV show “Super recipe for the Parent’s House” – 44 of them, along with the Hayat TVemployees, are ambassadors and initiators of this project, along with its creator, long standing editor of the Hayat TV Aidu Mahmutović.

"I need to point out how grateful we are to the Hayat Television, Mr Elvir Švrakić and Aida Mahmutović for their efforts and trust. The entire project and the Donors' Night were indeed a wonderful experience and a picture of a top-level event. We did not expect this amount of funds, but in any case, the Association is committed to spending those funds responsibly and transparently, as we have done so far", said the Vice President of the Association, Mr.Fikret Kubat.
