PARENTS’ CORNER
Useful advice and services for our members
- Upon receiving the first discharge notes parents may address a competent service within the Social Work Centre located in the municipality they reside in, for the purpose of exercising the right to disability allowance and custodial care, as well as to an increased child allowance;
- Following a diagnosis of childhood cancer, parents may address Municipality Mayor and Municipal Council in the municipality they reside in, for the purpose of exercising the right to a one-off financial assistance;
- Every parent exercising the right to disability allowance is entitled to file, with the competent Ministry of Interior, a request for issuing of a privileged parking ticket for persons with disabilities.
ASSOCIATION’S SERVICES
- Nutrition counselling (adequate diet during and following the treatment);
- Individual therapy and psychotherapy;
- Physiotherapy approved and recommended by the physician;
- Social Assistance Fund;
- Fellowships for young cancer survivors – mladiCe (eng. offshoots);
- Medicines, Aides and Medical Equipment Fund.
